How we work.

Six to eighteen months from first conversation to finished home. Here's what happens between.

  1. Conversation in the shop
    Step 01

    First conversation

A call or email with one of us. You tell us what you're thinking — site, size, use, rough timeline, the parts that are decided and the parts that aren't. We tell you honestly whether it's a fit for us. If it is, we schedule a site visit.

  2. A Maine site for a future build
    Step 02

    Site visit

We come to your land. We look at access, sun, drainage, utilities, the specific conditions your house will live with. Bring questions. Bring your partner. This is where the house starts to become real.

  3. Design render of a home in progress
    Step 03

    Design and review

We design the house. You see progress weekly. We iterate — rooms, light, materials, systems. This is the longest phase and the most collaborative. We don't start cutting until you're confident.

  4. A signed-off design
    Step 04

    Contract

Fixed-price contract with a clear scope and timeline. Payment happens in milestones tied to the build, not up front. You sign, we start.

  5. A build in progress in the shop
    Step 05

    Build in the shop

We frame, insulate, wire, plumb, and finish the house in our Maine shop. You're welcome to visit. Photos and updates every two weeks. Weather is our problem, not yours.

  6. A finished home delivered to site
    Step 06

    Delivery and site work

The finished house is transported to your site and set. We coordinate the delivery with the hauler. Site hookups — water, power, septic — happen alongside. Usually a few days from arrival to keys.

  7. A Maine Tiny Homes home at home on its site
    Step 07

    Warranty and support

Two-year comprehensive warranty on the full house, lifetime on the structure. We also run a recraft service — as the house ages, we can come back to refinish, renovate, or adapt it. Most of our customers we've known for a decade.

Think we'd be a fit?

The first step is just a message. No calendar link, no sales funnel.
